JAKARTA – PT Asuransi Jiwa Tugu Mandiri officially has a new name and brand, becoming PT Pertalife Insurance. This change was announced at the Press Conference Rebranding PT Asuransi Jiwa Tugu Mandiri to PT Pertalife Insurance held at the Double Tree Hotel, Cikini, Jakarta, on Monday, January 17, 2022.
Hanindio W. Hadi, President Director of PertaLife Insurance, in a press statement said, the change in the company's name, trademark (brand), and logo is to reposition the company's identity in line with the ongoing transformation.
"This corporate identity rebranding is one of the efforts to improve the company's performance in a better direction, given the current global business dynamics that require us to adapt quickly. This corporate identity change is part of changing the company's image into a life insurance company with a new work ethic. At the same time, grow more trust from stakeholders and customers," explained Hanindio.
He added that the rebranding of the company's identity is a symbol of the company's optimism in facing the challenges ahead. With a new identity, the company is committed to continuously improving service quality and product innovation, adjusting to customer needs.
The company is optimistic that PertaLife Insurance's business growth will be outstanding further. Moreover, the sustainable transformation launched in September 2020 has shown positive results even though the economic conditions face challenges.
Director of Finance and Investment of PertaLife Insurance, Yuzran Bustamar, explained that in 2021 the company achieved a net profit of Rp27.30 billion (as of November 2021), an increase of 48.53 percent compared to 2020, which was Rp18.38 billion.
According to Yuzran, the improvement in net profit was supported by investment and remuneration for the Financial Institution Pension Fund. "By implementing a productive performance culture, optimizing products through restructuring product portfolios, and improving governance, one of them is by implementing IT System control," he said.
With a new identity, PertaLife Insurance will continue to make business breakthroughs. Optimization of captive synergies within Pertamina and Timah Group is expected to benefit both parties, spurring PertaLife Insurance to be more competitive and provide the best service. In addition to business transformation, the company will develop digitalization for business processes and marketing.
"We also continue to make efficiency as an effort to survive and develop amid a pandemic that still cannot be predicted when it will end," explained Hanindio.*HS/PERTALIFE
