Jakarta, October 10, 2024 – Prioritizing operational reliability and workplace safety, PT Nusantara Regas (NR) has received recognition from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. NR was awarded the Patra Nirbhaya Karya Madya Award by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in the No Lost Work Hours Due to Accidents category at the JS Luwansa Hotel on Monday (07/10).
The Patra Nirbhaya Award is a national accolade from the Directorate General of Oil and Gas to companies demonstrating exceptional operational performance without losing work hours due to accidents. PT Nusantara Regas recorded over 12,564,497 safe work hours without losing any workdays due to accidents for 13 consecutive years since 2011.
This award was presented to the Director of Finance and Business Support of NR, Setyo Nugroho. Setyo emphasized that this achievement is a testament to NR's consistency in maintaining optimal and efficient operations while prioritizing safety.
"Winning the Patra Nirbhaya Main Category award proves our unwavering commitment to workplace safety. This further solidifies NR's position as a natural gas energy provider that prioritizes safety, health, and security in all operational aspects," Setyo stated.
Furthermore, Setyo highlighted that HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) implementation in NR is always based on oil and gas industry safety standards, covering worker protection, installations, and the environment.
"We will continue to improve safety aspects to ensure the sustainability of NR’s business and maintain the trust of stakeholders and the community in our operational areas," Setyo added.
This award was presented by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia, Bahlil Lahadalia, accompanied by the Acting Director General of Oil and Gas, Dadan Kusdiana, to 76 oil and gas companies from the upstream and downstream sectors that have achieved outstanding workplace safety records.
In his speech, Bahlil expressed high appreciation for all oil and gas companies committed to maintaining safety in their operations.
"The Oil and Gas Safety Award is a recognition for businesses that have ensured workplace safety without losing work hours while encouraging improved safety performance in the future," Bahlil concluded.
With this award, NR is further committed to continuously enhancing and integrating safety culture values into all business and operational aspects of the company as part of the responsibility of every level of employee.
