"I give high appreciation to media personnel throughout Indonesia who are very enthusiastic about participating and being part of AJP 2021. The pandemic has not dampened the creativity and productivity of all of my friends to keep up the enthusiasm to follow and be part of AJP, " said Nicke.

Nicke added, as a state-owned enterprise and a world-class energy company, Pertamina is always required to be at the forefront of encouraging national economic growth. On the other hand, Pertamina must also be in line with the global oil and gas business trend, which is invigorating the energy transition towards renewable energy, clean energy, and environmentally friendly.

"Although we are still facing a pandemic, Pertamina continues to carry out its task of distributing energy throughout the country to ensure energy availability so that the development movement and the economy continue to grow," added Nicke.

AJP 2021, continued Nicke, cannot be separated from Pertamina's desire and commitment to encourage media personnel to produce quality journalistic works and encourage the public to realize national energy resilience, independence, and sovereignty is our shared responsibility.

"To our media colleagues who won at AJP 2021, we convey our appreciation and congratulations. For those who have not had the chance, keep up the spirit and continue to produce brilliant works! Welcome to AJP 2022," said Nicke.

"Congratulations to all the winners, continue to work together to realize national energy resilience, independence, and sovereignty," said Basuki.

Basuki added, for Pertamina, media coverage has two interrelated sides. First, the publication of Pertamina's performance to the public in managing and distributing energy to all corners of the country. Second, to control the movement and dynamics of Pertamina so that it remains on the track as a state-owned enterprise and a world-class energy company.

"Thank you to the Jury who have worked professionally, objectively, and independently. It is hoped that they will continue to encourage quality journalistic work," added Basuki.
