86 Percent of Pertamina Klungkung Rumah BUMN Become Upgraded MSEs
Klungkung, Bali, June 29, 2021 – PT Pertamina (Persero) demonstrates concern for its fostered partners. Pertamina paid a visit to Klungkung Rumah BUMN on Thursday (17/6). During the visit, the only Pertamina RB Pertamina on the Island of the Gods has experienced much progress.
Until now, RB Klungkung has 472 MSEs under its guidance, which are not only located in Klungkung Regency but several nearby cities such as Denpasar and others. The main focus applied to its newly fostered partners is improving MSE products. It is through training and business clinics, as well as stakeholder engagement activities to several related agencies in Klungkung Regency.
"Following Pertamina's MSE development roadmap, traditional MSEs will be fostered to upgrade to Go Modern. It will continue to be upgraded until it becomes Go Global UMK," explained Acting Senior Vice President Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman.
This success has also been proven. From 472 fostered, as many as 11 percent or 56 MSEs have been promoted to Go Digital MSEs. They are partners that have utilized social media to promote and advertise RB Klungkung's products.
It does not stop there. 56 MSEs in the Go Digital class, 39 percent or 22 of the fostered have upgraded to Go Online MSEs. They are grouped in this class because they are proficient in promoting their products through marketplaces and websites that have been designed to sell their products.
"RB Klungkung has been able to deliver 8 of its partners or 36 percent from the Go Online stage to Go Global MSEs. They have sold their products overseas. This number will continue to be increased in line with Bali's tourism potential, which also continues to grow," she added.
In his direct review, Vice President of CSR and SMEPP Management of Pertamina, Arya Dwi Paramita explained, the potential of RB Klungkung is significant. Both in terms of location and the diversity of the fostered sectors.
"The role of Klungkung RB Supervisors is also significant. In addition to providing regular assistance, they also often help market the fostered products to social media and marketplaces managed by RB Klungkung," he said.
RB Klungkung itself is located on Jalan Mahodara Banjar Sangging, Kamasan Village, Klungkung Regency, Bali. The location of RB Klungkung is about 2 km or 15 minutes drive from the town square. It has easy access to public and personal transportation.
According to Fajriyah, through the Rumah BUMN, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can move the economy--energy that fuels and energy that produce sustainable growth.
Pertamina also supports SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) achievement through implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based programs in all of its operational areas. It is part of the environmental and social responsibility to realize economic benefits in the community.**
