Active in Handling Stunting, Pertamina EP Donggi Matindok Field Receives an Award from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the Stunting Prevention Innovation Award

Banggai, December 10, 2021 – Pertamina EP Donggi Matindok Field (PEP Donggi Matindok Field) which is part of Zone 13 East Indonesia Region Subhloding Upstream Pertamina received several awards through the SEHATI (Sehat Anak dan Ibu Tercinta) Program. The awards are the Inspirational Program in Mitra Bakti Husada Awards of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the First Winner of Cross-Sector Collaboration in the 2021 BKKBN Stunting Prevention Innovation Award, Thursday (25/11).

The Pertamina SEHATI (Sehat Anak dan Ibu Tercinta) program which focuses on improving the nutritional quality and health of toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers has received special attention from the Directorate of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN). To welcome the 57th National Health Day, PEP Donggi Matindok Field through the Pertamina SEHATI Health CSR program participated in the Stunting Prevention Innovation Award organized by the Directorate of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment of the Ministry of Health (12/11) and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) (25/11).

On this occasion, Pertamina SEHATI won an award as the Inspirational Program for the Maternal Child Health (KIA)/ Stunting category. This hybrid activity was attended by the Minister of Health, Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, CHFC, CLU; Deputy Minister of Health; Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health; Inspector General of the Ministry of Health; Director-General of the Ministry of Health; Heads of Agencies of the Ministry of Health; Expert Staff and Special Staff of the Minister of Health; Hospital Directors and Directors within the Ministry of Health; and Chairman of the Dharma Wanita Association of the Ministry of Health. This activity is a form of appreciation from the Directorate of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment of the Ministry of Health for the role of companies/BUMN/BUMD that have contributed to the National Health Development with strategic, innovative, inspiring, and leveraging health programs.

"Pertamina SEHATI is our manifestation of supporting the government’s programs in realizing good quality public health, especially for improving the nutritional quality of toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, especially in Banggai Regency," said Awang Lazuardi, Regional Director of Eastern Indonesia Subholding Upstream Pertamina.

On a different occasion, PEP Donggi Matindok Field received an award in the 2021 Stunting Prevention Innovation which was symbolically given by the National Family Planning Board (BKKBN) which was held virtually through a zoom meeting (25/11). Pertamina SEHATI won First Place in the Cross-Sector Collaboration category in stunting prevention, especially in Banggai Regency.

This event was attended virtually by the Head of BKKBN Dr. HC. Cdr. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp. OG (K); The Chairperson of the Habibie Institute Organizer, Dr. drg. Widya Leksmanawati Habibie, Sp., Ort., MM; Head of ADINKES dr. Muhammad Subuh, MPPM; as well as all regional heads in Indonesia. This stunting prevention activity is supported by a statement of commitment from 12 Regency/City Heads consist of Nganjuk Regency, Pekalongan Regency, Banggai Regency, Malinau Regency, Palu City, Sumedang Regency, Malang Regency, Bandung Regency, Natuna Regency, North Jakarta City, East Flores Regency, and Tolikara Regency.

The Head of the Health Service and staff, the Head of Banggai Regency DP2KBP3A Board and staff, as well as 6 innovators of Stunting Prevention Innovation in Banggai Regency, were Also present in the special meeting room of the Banggai Regent's Office and witnessed the event virtually. “This SEHATI Innovation achievements shows that cross-sectoral cooperation, including with companies in Banggai Regency, can run well.
