Therefore, the company can be in great demand and make the MSMEs upgrade.
This is what Lisye Diana has prepared. L&D Art MSME, which produces various forms of lanterns, has prepared in advance for the needs of this Chinese New Year celebration. Sure enough, she was flooded with orders. "Orders for this year's Chinese New Year have been in since October last year. We can make up to 100 lanterns per day," she said.
Seeing an increase in orders, she also added stock of raw materials. Lisye also increased the number of workers needed. "There are seven permanent employees. However, if there is an order that must be completed, it can be up to 50-60 people," she said. Lisye empowers neighbors to help her. As the implementation of ESG in the social sector and SDGs, the 8th goal is to provide work and support economic growth.
With an initial capital of IDR 10 million, Lisye started this business with her husband Abdul Syukur at their residence at Jalan Gunung Batu Gang Mulya Asih No 16, Cicendo District, Bandung City. The raw materials used are not only paper but also copper, stainless steel, and other materials. But the strength of Diana's products lies in her innovation and creation.
The shop can produce various types of lanterns, from traditional to modern lanterns such as lanterns in the shape of fallen fruit, dew necks, cylinders (capsules), and cylinders of Meihua flowers. "Some examples of the lanterns can be seen through @lampionld social media account. Our lanterns were sold for between IDR 50,000 to IDR 2.3 million depending on the difficulty of making them," she explained.
Under the guidance of Pertamina and the L & D Art Lamp brand, Lisye Diana can survive and has even participated in various exhibitions in 8 countries, starting from Malaysia, Singapore, Ukraine, Japan, Qatar, and finally in Armenia. During the exhibitions, the goods underneath always persist. She is proving that the products have high quality and export quality. The average monthly turnover obtained is around IDR 25 million. "If during Chinese New Year it can go up more than 100 percent," she concluded.
Meanwhile, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Agus Suprijanto, added that Pertamina will always accompany their fostered partners in any condition, including when they are flooded with orders.
