Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region Secures Fuel and LPG Supply Ahead of Eid al-Adha 1445 H

Jakarta, June 15, 2024 - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region has secured fuel and LPG supply ahead of Eid al-Adha 1445 H. This initiative anticipates the increased energy demand during the Eid al-Adha long holiday.

Muslim Dharmawan, Acting Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region, stated that the fuel and LPG supply for Eid al-Adha 1445 H in the West Java Region area, which includes Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java provinces are sufficient.

Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region has also anticipated an increase in fuel and LPG consumption due to heightened public mobility and cooking needs during the Eid al-Adha 1445 H long holiday in each Sales Area Retail region by increasing fuel and LPG stock levels, including enhancing the reliability of facilities and services at distribution institutions such as petrol stations and LPG agents/dealers.

"To anticipate the increase in fuel consumption before and during the Eid al-Adha holiday, Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region has built up stock at petrol stations in each Sales Area Retail region according to the needs and consumption trends in upcoming days," said Muslim.

"For example, we have increased biosolar’s stock by around 2,000 kiloliters (KL) per day ahead of Eid al-Adha. Meanwhile, the stock of other products is adjusted according to needs," added Muslim.

Pertamina Patra Niaga has also prioritized gas stations in strategic locations such as rest areas, ports, and other strategic routes to anticipate queues. Pertamina urges the public not to engage in panic buying as Pertamina remains committed to meeting the community's energy needs.

In addition to ensuring stock at petrol stations, Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region has increased the stock of 3 kg LPG cylinders by 1.35 million cylinders, which are prepared flexibly for Eid al-Adha 1445 H.

"Approximately 1.35 million 3 kg LPG cylinders are prepared flexibly for Eid al-Adha in the West Java Regional area. With this addition, we hope to fulfill the community's needs and ensure peace of mind during the Eid al-Adha holiday and collective leave in 2024," said Muslim.

Furthermore, Muslim explained that they also urge the public to purchase LPG products, especially the 3 kg LPG cylinders, from official Pertamina distributors or LPG outlets to ensure that the purchase price aligns with the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the respective regional governments.
