Pertamina Served Equitable Energy Through One Price Fuel in 321 Regions in Indonesia  

Jakarta, December 22, 2021 – Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero), together with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Downstream Regulatory Agency (BPH) of Oil and Gas, inaugurated seven One Price Fuel distribution agencies in the East Nusa Tenggara region. This inauguration also proves Pertamina Patra Niaga's commitment to completing the construction of 78 One Price distribution agencies throughout 2021 following government assignments. It includes 10 in Sumatra, 12 in East Nusa Tenggara, 6 in West Nusa Tenggara, 23 in Kalimantan, 9 in Sulawesi, and 18 in Papua and Maluku.

The inauguration was carried out by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif, Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero), Mulyono, and President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero), Alfian Nasution.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said that the government distributes energy to remote areas while ensuring price equality. Through One Price Fuel, there is no longer discrimination. Fuel prices will be more affordable and the same from one region to another.

"We would like to express our appreciation to the governor and regional heads for facilitating the One Price Fuel Program. One Price Fuel is a program of energy justice and equity. Therefore, the benefits of energy at affordable prices can be enjoyed by the community, thus encouraging mobility and community economic activities throughout the country," explained Arifin.

Arifin continued that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources appreciates Pertamina and BPH Migas, who consistently implement the One Price BBM Fuel. Therefore, people in remote areas can get fuel at an affordable price. With a target of 573 One Price Fuel distributors by 2024, Arifin said that the challenge to realize equitable energy is still significant.

"Currently, 321 have officially operated. There are 240 One Price Fuel distribution agencies that must be built in the next two years. We must commit to meeting this target and contributing to the community. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, BPH Migas, and Pertamina seeks to ensure accessible energy for everyone," explained Arifin

Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, said that BPH Migas has the duty and responsibility to ensure and guarantee energy distribution, especially the availability of affordable fuel.

"From the target of 76 points for the One Price Fuel distribution agency in 2021, 78 points have been realized. It has exceeded the target. Thank you to Pertamina and all the teams involved in the One Price Fuel Program implementation. Hopefully, the benefits of the presence of One Price Fuel can be felt directly by the public," said Erika.

Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero), Mulyono, said the addition of the One Price Fuel point, Pertamina had operated 321 One Price Fuel points spread over 112 districts in Indonesia, including the behind, outermost, and disadvantaged areas (3T).

"This inauguration is the beginning of Pertamina's service to the community. Pertamina will continue to ensure that One Price BBM Fuel stations run well, on time, in the right quantity, and with the right quality. One Price Fuel is hoped to provide benefits for the community in 112 regencies, enjoying affordable fuel prices so that it can encourage the economy of the people in the 3T area," explained Mulyono.

President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution, said the challenges of implementing the One Price Fuel Program are significant, as the Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero).

"In the process of distributing One Price Fuel, it is quite common to change modes of transportation up to 4 to 5 times. In certain areas, such as Puncak Jaya Papua, the change of transportation can reach six or even eight times. However, we are committed to carrying out this mandate, ensuring equitable energy is present for the community," explained Alfian.**
