Pertamina's Fostered MSMEs Achieve Transactions Exceeding IDR 1.5 Billion on CSE Asia 2024’s First Day

Jakarta, November 15, 2024 – Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) partnered with PT Pertamina (Persero) once again to capture consumers’ attention by securing transactions exceeding IDR 1.5 billion on the first day of the Asia Consumer Sourcing Expo (CSE) 2024, held from November 14-16, 2024, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten.

CSE Asia 2024 is a premier business and sourcing expo showcasing top-quality products from leading suppliers and manufacturers in China. The exhibition aims to strengthen product trade across Southeast Asia and the broader Asian region.

One of Pertamina's fostered MSMEs, Bali Ayu, received an order for a container of beauty soap products from a buyer in India. Additionally, several renowned hotel owners have expressed interest in various beauty products. It demonstrates the strong enthusiasm from both domestic and international markets for high-quality local Indonesian products.

"Thanks to Pertamina's guidance, we have been able to understand international market demands and adjust our product quality to meet global standards," said Komang Yatik, Bali Ayu’s owner.

At this exhibition, Pertamina featured six of its top MSMEs: Bali Ayu, Arinnee, Kahla, Fish Skin, Sanrah Food, and Agrominafiber. Their participation highlights Indonesian products’ competitiveness and superior quality in the global market.

"We highly appreciate the achievements of Pertamina's fostered MSMEs on CSE Asia 2024’s first day. This success reflects the hard work that not only brings pride to Pertamina but also to Indonesia. Pertamina will continue to support Indonesian MSMEs in competing on the international stage," said Fadjar Djoko Santoso, the Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina.

Fadjar added that besides serving as a promotional platform, CSE Asia 2024 provides a crucial opportunity for MSMEs to gain insights into global market trends and expand their business networks. Pertamina offers various forms of support to participating MSMEs, including intensive training, product capacity building, and international marketing strategies.

Pertamina's participation in CSE Asia 2024 aligns with its vision to support local economic independence and strengthen the global presence of Indonesian MSMEs.

"This achievement proves that Indonesian products possess the quality and innovation needed to compete internationally," Fadjar concluded.

Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina's business lines and operations.**
