Palembang, May 2, 2022 - Entering the 2022 Eid al-Fitrs homecoming travel, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel ensures all fuel distribution facilities for the community energy needs in the Southern Sumatra region are sufficient and can be used properly.
Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of South Sumatra, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan, said Pertamina is committed to serving the community energy needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
"Through the additional Pertamina Siaga service, it is hoped that the public can enjoy homecoming in peace, and the fuel and LPG Task Forces (Satgas) for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr have also been activated since April 11, 2022, and planned to end on May 10, 2022," Nikho said.
To prepare for this year's Eid al-Fitr homecoming travel, Pertamina is offering additional services such as 24 hour standby petrol stations in potential areas (toll lanes, tourist routes, logistics routes), 80 standby petrol stations, two modular petrol stations on the Trans Sumatra toll, and 43 PSO agents and 7 non-PSO agents 24 hour LPG service especially in high-demand areas.
In addition, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel has prepared additional stock by preparing nine pocket petrol stations and two motorized points placed at several petrol stations with a potential surge in demand.
Pertamina continues to coordinate with law enforcement officers and other stakeholders to ensure that energy distribution can be right on target and in accordance with its designation.
