Jakarta, December 14, 2021 – PT Pertamina Lubricants (PTPL), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading PT Pertamina (Persero), which manages the lubricants business, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google Cloud Indonesia at the Pertamax Building, Grha Pertamina on Monday, December 13, 2021.
The signing of the MoU was done out by Finance & Business Support Director of PTPL Catur Dermawan with Google Cloud Indonesia Country Director Megawaty Khie and witnessed by President Director of PTPL Ageng Giriyono and Deon Montasser, Head of Enterprise and Corporate Sales, Google Cloud Indonesia.
This synergy is one of PTPL's strategic steps in the journey of end-to-end digitalization transformation in all business lines, from production, sales & marketing, operations, supply chain, logistics to digitalization with customers and consumers. Moreover, this is also in line with the long-term plan to support Pertamina's Go Digital commitment and the "Making Indonesia 4.0" program launched by the Indonesian government.

The MoU between PTPL and Google Cloud Indonesia includes several strategic pillars that will drive cost and operational efficiency and accelerate product and service innovation to consumers and the public.
In addition to supporting the development of a safer and faster IT infrastructure, this collaboration will utilize Google Cloud products and services such as big data analytics, smart data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, application modernization, developer tools, API management, collaboration, and productivity application, storage and databases, networking, security and identity management, and infrastructure modernization that will assist PTPL in making strategic decisions in real-time.
Catur continued that integrated and centralized data will help us to conduct a more comprehensive analysis so that we are able to make the right business decisions and produce innovations based on data.
