Kendal, May 3, 2021 - Pertashop in Tegorejo Village, Kendal Regency, Central Java, can distribute an average of 2,000 liters of Pertamax product every day, demonstrating the improvement of the village economy. It was conveyed by the Head of Tegorejo Village, Udiyono, during a visit by the Minister of SOE, Erick Thohir, Saturday (1/5).
"On average, from sales of about 2,000 liters per day, we can produce a net profit of IDR 25 million per month. This amount is divided evenly between villages, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and managers," he said.
On the same occasion, the Minister of SOE, Erick Thohir, also expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the Pertashop.
"Thank God, with the distribution of 2,000 liters per day from Pertashop, the people will get fuel savings. It will also create jobs," said Erick.
The Pertashop review revealed a lot of optimism for the future. Pertamina hopes that Pertashop that provides the same price and quality fuel will be the solution to fair energy distribution leading to a multiplier impact on economic growth in rural areas.
Pertashop also sells Bright Gas 5.5 Kg, Pertamina Lubricants, and other products and services in addition to fuel.
Pertamina also provides an opportunity for all parties that meet the criteria to collaborate through Pertashop. People interested in learning more about Pertashop can contact Pertamina Call Center 135 or visit the website at ptm.id/pertashop.
Pertashop is one of Pertamina's programs that provides energy access to people in areas far from Pertamina's distribution agencies, such as petrol stations. This program is in line with Pertamina's One Village One Outlet (OVOO) program, which ensures that every village has a Pertamina channeling agency that distributes energy to rural areas.
Currently, 1,670 Pertashop units are available and ready to operate throughout Indonesia. In 2021, it is targeted that as many as 10 thousand new Pertashops can operate. It includes 1,000 Pertashops in Islamic boarding schools.
"The opportunity to build Pertashop is still wide open. We invite entrepreneurs, investors, local governments, management of Islamic boarding schools, and anyone to work with Pertamina and the Government to achieve energy and economic independence," concluded the Executive General Manager of Pertamina Regional Central Java, Sylvia Grace Yuvenna who also attended the visit.**
