Accelerating Clean Energy Projects, Pertamina NRE Appoints Director of Risk Management
Jakarta, May 16, 2024 – PT Pertamina (Persero), as the shareholder of Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE), announced the appointment of Iin Febrian as the Director of Risk Management of Pertamina NRE on Wednesday (15/5). The Directorate of Risk Management plays a strategic role, considering that Pertamina NRE leads Pertamina's energy transition with ambitious targets of realizing clean energy development projects.
PT Pertamina (Persero) officially established the Directorate of Risk Management across all its subholdings concurrently on Wednesday (15/5). This new directorate's formation reflects Pertamina's commitment to strengthening the Directorate of Risk Management function to achieve the corporation's business targets.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that amid the evolving global challenges and business dynamics, implementing risk management in every business process across all subholdings is crucial. This Directorate of Risk Management establishment also follows the directives of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, ensuring that Pertamina has an organization managing risk both at the Holding and Subholding levels.
"The Directorate of Risk Management will focus on enhancing the role of risk management as the main driver of business growth and strategy execution for ongoing projects to prevent or mitigate potential losses and risks," said Fadjar.
Before being appointed Director of Risk Management of Pertamina NRE, Iin Febrian served as the President Director of PT Pertamina Retail since 2020. Iin has had a long career in Pertamina's marketing division.
