Jakarta, December 29, 2021 - Approaching the 2022 new year, Pertamina ensures that the national LPG stock, both PSO and Non-PSO LPG, is sufficient. Pertamina has also alerted the entire LPG distribution chain throughout Indonesia for 24-hour standby.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said the national LPG stock resilience was at 16 days, far above the standard set at 11 days. Pertamina is ready to meet LPG needs during the 2022 new year celebrations.
"During the New Year celebrations, LPG consumption is estimated to increase 3 percent from the daily average. For this reason, Pertamina has prepared a sufficient stock to meet the community's need for LPG," said Fajriyah.
Pertamina, added Fajriyah, has alerted the Nataru Task Force, which is on standby 24 hours to serve LPG requests throughout Indonesia. Pertamina has alerted 48,207 LPG Standby Agents and LPG Outlets during the 2022 new year holiday.
Pertamina also serves LPG online orders through Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) 135. Customers can order LPG via telephone or WhatsApp. Pertamina's agents will send the LPG to the customer's house. Pertamina also provides a Program to Exchange 3 Kg LPG Cylinders for Bright Gas.
Pertamina has prepared a distribution chain starting from the Depot, SPBBE, Agents, Bases to LPG Outlets to support the smooth distribution of LPG nationally. Pertamina has prepared 667 SPBBE, 4,152 PSO agents, 820 NPSO agents, 188,788 PSO outlets, and 34,534 NPSO outlets.
The national LPG distribution process has used digital technology, which can be monitored in real-time through the Pertamina Integrated Command Center (PICC).
