Jakarta, November 12, 2020 - Approaching its 63rd anniversary, Pertamina continues to improve energy distribution throughout the country through the One Price Fuel Program. The provision of fuel in the Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost areas, or commonly referred to as the 3T region within the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), is Pertamina's dedication to providing energy justice while maintaining energy security and sovereignty along the frontier of Indonesia.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Agus Suprijanto, said that since the Government assigned it in 2017 to 2019, Pertamina has built 160 One Price fuel points. Meanwhile, throughout 2020, Pertamina has built and operated 28 points, and as many as 55 points are under construction. The target is that by the end of the year, Pertamina will add 83 points of One Price Fuel, bringing a total of 243 points.
"One Price Fuel is one of Pertamina's important programs to support economic development in the 3T region. The hope is that the community's economy can grow, and people become more productive with the availability of affordable fuel in areas that have been difficult to reach," said Agus.
Agus added that the One Price Fuel points that have been operating in 2020. It includes Central Sulawesi (2 points), South Sulawesi (2 points), West Kalimantan (1 point), Maluku & North Maluku (4 points), South Kalimantan (2 points), North Sumatra (4 points), South Sumatra (3 points), Lampung (3 points), NTB (1 point), and Papua (6 points).
"The availability of fuel is an important energy factor that encourages the progress of a region. Therefore Pertamina continues to improve the development of various energy distribution infrastructure to support the smooth running of the One Price Fuel Program," Agus added.
According to Agus, according to the road map, by 2024, Pertamina targets the construction of One Price Fuel to reach 500 points. This is a concrete manifestation of Pertamina's commitment to assist the Government in realizing Energy Justice.
