Approaching Christmas and New Year, Pertamina Ensures Sufficient Fuel and LPG Stocks

Jakarta, December 24, 2021 – Approaching the Christmas and New Year's (Nataru) celebrations, Pertamina ensures that the supply of fuel, LPG, and avtur in all parts of Indonesia is sufficient. On average, the stock for all fuel (BBM) products is at the level of more than 19 days, LPG at above 14 days, and Avtur at 35 days.

Pertamina has also carried out stock security throughout the distribution chain, both at TBBM, depots, SPBBE, and petrol stations, so that Pertamina guarantees sufficient services to the public.

The distribution process for fuel and LPG is also continuously monitored in real-time through the Pertamina Integrated Command Centre (PICC) and the dashboard digitizing of petrol stations. Therefore, the energy stock in each region can be monitored accurately.

Director of Infrastructure Logistics as Head of the Nataru Task Force, Mulyono said, during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, Pertamina activated the Nataru Task Force to ensure that all energy needs of the community were properly fulfilled.

Pertamina, Mulyono added, has prepared all energy distribution infrastructure throughout Indonesia in a state of alert. A total of 114 fuel terminals, 23 LPG terminals, 68 Aircraft Filling Depots (DPPU), more than 7,400 petrol stations, as well as the entire LPG distribution chain from LPG Filling Stations (SPBBE) to LPG agents and bases, both subsidized and non-subsidized are prepared to fulfill the energy needs of the community.

"Ahead of Christmas and New Year, the normal average realization of fuel and LPG has increased compared to before the Nataru Task Force. The average gasoline has increased by 2%, gasoil has increased by 5%, and LPG has increased by 2%," explained Mulyono.

During the Task Force period, Mulyono continued, Pertamina prepared additional services and facilities. Namely 1,077 standby petrol stations on the regular route, 63 standby petrol stations on toll roads, 218 motorists or Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) fleets, 144 petrol station fuel bag points, 34 units of Pertashop or modular petrol stations, and more than 48 thousand LPG Standby agents and bases. Services at 68 DPPU will also continue to be on standby to fulfill Avtur needs for all airlines.

"With the support and synergy of all stakeholders, it is hoped that energy services during Christmas and New Year will continue to be safe and smooth. If you need information related to BBM and LPG, kindly contact Pertamina Call Center 135," said Mulyono.**
