BBK Consumption Trend in Sumbar Increased, People Pays more Attention with High-quality and Eco-friendly Fuel

PADANG – As fuel distributors for vehicle in West Sumatera, PT Pertamina (Persero) MOR I Branch West Sumatera is optimistic that more people will be paying more attention to vehicle machineries and environment.

This can be seen from the increase of Pertamina products usage such as Pertalite, Pertamax and Dexlite (09/10). Pertamina has recorded a 32 thousand kilo liters for Pertalite in West Sumatera on September 2017 or increased 35% compared to early 2017 for 23 thousand kiloliters.

This amount is greater than Premium product in September 2017 for 25 thousand kiloliters. As for Pertamax products, Pertamina recorded a 62 percent increase from 3,900 kiloliters in January 2017 to 6,300 kiloliters in September 2017. For diesel fuel products such as Dexlite, Pertamina posted a 163 percent increase from the previous in January 2017 of 166 kiloliters to 436 kiloliters in September 2017.

Area Manager Communication & Relations Pertamina Sumbagut Rudi Ariffianto said that Pertamina keep on socializing the use of non-subsidized fuel with a better quality and eco-friendly to the people. "As a form of compliance with regulation, especially related to vehicle emissions in Indonesia, Pertamina continues to increase public awareness to use the fuel in accordance with current vehicle specifications", said Rudi.
