BRIGHT GAS COOKING COMPETITION 2017 #KulinerKhasDaerah
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through Bright Gas product held "Bright Gas Cooking Competition 2017". After successfully uplifting home cooking menu in 2016, this year "Bright Gas Cooking Competition" take the theme of 'Local Cuisine'. Departing from the concept of variation of local cuisine flavors in Indonesia, Bright Gas invites the people to compete in showing their pride to their local culinary specialties menu through digital competition and live cooking competition.
The purpose of this event is to show the public that Indonesia is rich of its variety of local cuisine. This local cuisine inheritance recipe will be the highlight in the Bright Gas Cooking Competition 2017.
Various processed spices and hand blends from each region will be displayed as attractive as possible by not leaving the hallmark of the dish.
Vice President of Corporate Communications Pertamina Adiatma Sardjito stated, this competition combines the concept of digital and on ground activation, where there are two categories in Bright Gas Cooking Competition 2017, namely the local cuisine photo competition and live cooking competition.
The mechanism of photo competition is by uploading photos of local cuisine in @brightgas instagram account respectively. Each participant is required to upload their cooking results and include their recipes in the caption with various words that are strung to be interesting, then mention 5 people and tag @ brightgas. Subsequently, each participant is required to include hashtag #TypeofLocalCuisine according to the uploaded food, hashtag #LocalCulinarySpecialties #Thinkpink and #Brightgas. For participants who get the most likes and suit the criteria of the committee assessment, are entitled to get Bright Gas voucher worth 1 million rupiah along with official merchandise from Bright Gas.
The second category of live cooking competition, invites the general public to cook a menu that is the winner of the photo and recipe category in @brightgas instagram. Assessment of participants’ food at live cooking competition will also be done directly by a jury who is competent in the field that is Chef Agus Sasirangan. The winners of the live cooking competition will get a trophy and bring home millions of dollars of cash.
The one-day event on every weekend will be started from Banjarmasin city on October 7, 2017 located at Duta Mall Banjarmasin, then will continue in Jayapura city on October 14, 2017 at Lapangan Apel of Governor of Papua Province, and last city which will be visited is Palembang located at Palembang Trade Center on October 21, 2017.

Adiatma added to provide services to consumers, and also held special promos in those cities during the live cooking competition.
