Jakarta, July 12, 2021 – Pertamina UMK Academy participants this year are lucky. It is because PT Pertamina (Persero), through the MSE Funding Program, brings in many experienced experts and practitioners to foster participants to become upgraded MSEs. One of them is by presenting sources from one of the major marketplaces in Indonesia.
Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said that this collaboration aims to provide fostered partners with direct information related to e-commerce and tips for successful selling in it.
"By presenting sources from the relevant marketplace, MSEs can find out their superior features that help sell their products. Or various offers made specifically for micro and small business actors," she said.
The materials delivered by these practitioners are expected to be immediately practiced by MSEs. That way, it can encourage productivity and strengthen the position of the participants as Go Online MSEs.
The Vice President of Government Relations of Blibli, Suherman Soemardi, said the same thing. According to him, BliBli Indonesia has a special platform to showcase MSME products throughout Indonesia, namely the Indonesian Gallery. "BliBli is also collaborating with the government, including ministries and SOEs, to encourage MSEs towards digitalization, and increase resilience amidst the pandemic," he said.
Suherman also gave tips for the success of MSEs at the Indonesian Gallery. That is, starting with consistency with the brand image. Furthermore, it is supported by good visualization or packaging, product uniqueness, and differentiation, commitment to maintaining product availability. "The most important thing is to focus on customer satisfaction with a fast and honest response," he added.
One of the participants in the briefing was Erlina Handari. The owner of the Ade Handycraft business, which produces clothes and painted fabrics, admits that she is ready to join the marketplace. "Thank you to Pertamina for providing this coaching facility so that I can gain a lot of knowledge related to selling online," she said.
According to Fajriyah, through the MSE Funding Program, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can move the economy--energy that fuels and energy that produce sustainable growth.
Pertamina also supports SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) achievements through implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based programs in all of its operational areas. It is part of the environmental and social responsibility to realize economic benefits in the community.**
