Jakarta, August 28, 2021 – PT Pertamina (Persero) through MSE Funding Program is increasingly holding training for Go Online MSEs. The event that was held virtually on Thursday (19/8) was BUMDES-UMK Go Online themed. Hundreds of MSEs involved were quite enthusiastic participating in the event that can improve their skills in using digital media for business.
This event is a part of Pre-event of Proud Made in Indonesia East Kalimantan Movement (GBBI Kaltim) and SMEXPO 2021. Pertamina collaborated with Ministry of Villages, Development of Underdeveloped Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendes PDTT); Coordinating Ministry for Maritime & Investment Affairs (Kemenkomarves); Bank Indonesia, East Kalimantan Provincial Government, and other stakeholders.
This routinely held ahead of the peak of GBBI & SMEXPO 2021 on October 2020 program, was opened directly by Vice President of CSR & SMEPP Management of Pertamina, Arya Dwi Paramita. In his speech, Arya had high hopes for the implementation of the training and webinar.
“We hope that through similar training, the MSEs and BUMDES wherever they are can be prepared to welcome the era of information technology that is now developing rapidly. Certainly, this development can be utilized for business and increase economic potential for both personal businesses and contributions to the country,” he said.
Pertamina is committed to continue to help micro and small enterprises actors wherever they are. Not only at the location of the East Kalimantan GBBI, but also nationally. Therefore, more MSEs can upgrade and survive amid the pandemic, as well as become adaptive MSEs.
In line with Arya, Head of Community Empowerment and Village Administration Department (DPMPD) of East Kalimantan Province, H.M. Syirajudin also hopes that the objectives of this training to form UMK-BUMDES Go Online can be achieved. “Hopefully with this training, MSEs and BUMDES can have an understanding so it can be utilized to jump high into the digital world,” he said.
In delivering the keynote speech, Syirajudin also appreciated Pertamina’s role in empowering MSEs in Indonesia. “Thank you to Pertamina for having high concern to MSEs and all their efforts to help become upgraded, not only locally, but also on a national and international scale,” he said.
After the opening, the event was followed by the delivery of the material by MarkPlus Institute Exclusive Facilitator R.E Budiastuti. There were two training sessions, in the first session materials regarding the utilization of technology in promotion and sales were given. Then continued with the second session which discussed the use of social media to support business activity.
Pertamina through the MSE Funding Program, Pertamina wants to provide energy that can move the economy, energy that fuels and energy that produce sustainable growth.
