Jakarta, May 21, 2022 - Pertamina's consistency in energy marketing innovation throughout the country has resulted in winning the Gold Winner award, The Most Promising Company in Marketing 3.0. Pertamina receives the awards from "BUMN Entrepreneurial Marketing Award 2022" event organized by MarkPlus, Inc at the Atrium, Kota Kasablanka Mall, Wednesday (18/5/2022).
The award was handed over directly by Hermawan Kartajaya, Founder & Chairman of MarkPlus, Inc., and received by Finance Director of Pertamina, Emma Sri Martini.
This award event involves Selected SOEs based on the Jury's assessment from the Jakarta CMO Club, Indonesia Marketing Association (IMA), and the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Indonesia, which should not come from SOE, its subsidiaries, and BUMD.
The Minister of SOE, Erick Thohir, who was present virtually, said that this activity was an appreciation form for the SOEs' and its subsidiaries' professional marketers' performances.
"It is our responsibility, and as SOEs, we have Core Values of Morals that we apply to all levels of SOEs. Morals as Core Values are the foundation and work culture as well as an identity to give the best at every step, every day, and in our performance," said Erick.
Finance Director of Pertamina, Emma Sri Martini, said this award is an appreciation to Pertamina for being innovative in developing marketing aspects.
"This is an award for us to increase sales and market sales. This certainly challenges us to continue to be creative and grow on the demand side, and also related to changes in customer behavior," said Emma.
According to her, Pertamina must continue to develop innovations in the marketing field, starting with the marketing strategy, digital marketing, and how to survive or survive despite the many disruptions and challenges in the business aspect.
Hermawan Kartajaya, Founder & Chairman of MarkPlus, Inc. said that SOEs must have a vision and carry out transformation.
"We will welcome the period in 2030, predicted to be 'The New World' because of the SDGs, Metaverse, and Generation Z (Gen Z). Prepare yourself to be ready in 2030 because if you only prepare in 2023, the transformation will be too late,” said Hermawan.
On this occasion, President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, and Finance Director Emma Sri Martini. Both won the “Dewi BUMN Award 2022”.
Dewi BUMN is an appreciation to Srikandi BUMN, especially Woman Leaders of SOEs who have contributed to the company, nation, and country.
