Jakarta, December 20, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) has consistently implement the corporate governance (Good Corporate Governance - GCG) principles regarding public information transparency. As a state-owned enterprise serving the public’s energy needs, Pertamina continues to enhance various innovations to support public information transparency.
This consistency is demonstrated by the easily accessible communication channels availability, such as the Pertamina Contact Center 135, ready to receive public complaints. Pertamina also consistently disseminates information following the Public Information Disclosure Law through its websites www.pertamina.com and www.eppid.pertamina.com, as well as the official @pertamina account, verified across all social media platforms.
Through these efforts, PT Pertamina (Persero) has achieved the Public Information Transparency Award in the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) category for three consecutive years since 2021. The award was directly received by Erry Widiastono, Director of Business Support of Pertamina, during the ceremony held at the Vice President's Palace on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
This award demonstrates the commitment and excellent performance of PT Pertamina Persero, who is acknowledged for implementing information transparency within the SOE environment.
During the award ceremony, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin, emphasized public information importance as an essential element in good governance.
"I perceive public information as an essential element, a hallmark of good governance. It is one of the determinants of the success of bureaucratic reform programs, and it emphasizes that information is the path to nurturing democracy, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the welfare of the people," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
Ma’ruf Amin hoped the Public Information Transparency Award Ceremony 2023 would ignite enthusiasm to optimize Public Information Transparency fulfillment by all state organizers and public entities.
"Congratulations to the award recipients; let this award serve as a reminder to continually maintain the provision of public information services and enhance the standards of information services to the public," he added.
Furthermore, during the event, the results of the 2023 Public Information Transparency monitoring and evaluation by the Central Information Commission were announced. Out of 369 evaluated public entities, 139 attained an informative predicate, surpassing the national target of 90 informative public entities.
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), explained that Pertamina will continue to uphold the principles of transparency and public accountability in providing services to the public.
