Consistently Strengthening Values, Pertamina Wins Award at AKHLAK Award 2021

Jakarta, July 16, 2021 – PT Pertamina (Persero) won the "AKHLAK Award 2021" for the Organizational Focus Balance Index category with a value of A or 100% (High Positive Balance Index). Pertamina is considered SOE with an integrated performance evenly distributed in 6 awareness, namely Meaning Purpose, Sustainability, Relationship, Performance, Growth, and Common Goals.

The Akhlak Award aims to bring SOEs to become world-class corporations that can compete at the global level. The event was organized by ACT Consulting International. The assessment used the ACHI-Akhlak Culture Health Index-Akhlak Method.

Minister of SOE, Erick Thohir, said that AKHLAK is the basis for SOEs to be adaptive from their Comfort Zone. Transformation is required across the board, not just in terms of business model and operations but also in human capital. If it does not change, continued Erick Thohir, SOEs could collapse. The collapse of SOEs will harm public services.

"We have the mandate to manage the country's wealth, which is very large. Therefore, the economic supporter and the nation's locomotive are also agents of development," said Erick.
