Jakarta, March 16, 2021 - Coinciding with World Consumer Rights Day, which falls on March 15, 2021, PT Pertamina (Persero) noted that the MyPertamina application had reached 10 million users. This application is a form of Pertamina's commitment to fulfilling consumer rights by strengthening services by providing convenience for digital transactions.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication and Investor Relations Pertamina, Agus Suprijanto, said that following the digitalization program's completion at 5,518 Pertamina petrol stations, digital transaction services through MyPertamina continued to increase and exceeded 10 million users.
According to Agus, the MyPertamina service provides convenience and security in making transactions at petrol stations. With the MyPertamina application, consumers will be spoiled with various exciting features such as knowing the nearest petrol station point, interesting promo information, prizes, and merchandise that can be exchanged for points in every purchase of fuel LPG and other Pertamina products.
"Pertamina will continue to innovate to provide excellent service to loyal customers. Following the digital era, non-cash transactions at Pertamina will be increased so that consumers can enjoy convenience and comfort with a high level of security," said Agus.
In addition to improving services through digital applications, Pertamina also continues to expand the One Price fuel program's reach in the Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) areas so that the fuel prices received by the public are more affordable.
In the One Price fuel program, continued Agus, Pertamina is preparing additional points for One Price fuel distribution agencies scattered in West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, Sulutgo, Central Sulawesi, North Maluku, and Papua. The construction of the new One Price fuel point is part of the 76 points target that the Government will entrust to Pertamina in 2021.
"Currently, 20 points are entering the preparation stage and will soon enter the operational test phase. The 20 One Price fuel points are spread across West Nusa Tenggara (2 points), East Nusa Tenggara (7 points), West Kalimantan (3 points), East Kalimantan (1 point), North Sulawesi (1 point), Central Sulawesi (1 point), North Maluku (2 points) and Papua (3 points)" said Agus.
According to Agus, by the end of 2021, a total of 319 One Price fuel points will be built, and by 2024 it is targeted to reach 500 points.
"Pertamina continues to expand energy distribution institutions' development to 3T areas throughout the country to create energy justice. With One Price Fuel, people who have had difficulty getting access to energy can now get the right and enjoy affordable prices at all official Pertamina distribution agencies," added Agus.
Agus said, with the One Price fuel, the fuel needs in the 3T area will be fulfilled sustainably. It will have an impact on increasing community mobility and economic activity so that it will encourage regional economic growth.
"As a state-owned oil and gas company, Pertamina is tasked with serving the energy needs of the community so that all parts of Indonesia can grow and develop and make people prosperous," said Agus.
