Ternate, October 30, 2024 – PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to ensure energy availability across the nation’s most remote areas through the One Price Fuel Distributor network expansion. Pertamina has officially launched 40 new One Price Fuel stations, with the largest number in the Maluku-Papua Cluster (14 locations), followed by the Sulawesi-Nusa Tenggara Cluster (12 locations), the Kalimantan Cluster (7 locations), and the Sumatra Cluster (7 locations).

The inauguration of the Maluku-Papua Cluster One Price Fuel network was led by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Yuliot, with the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan, and the Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, at the Fuel Terminal in Ternate, North Maluku Province, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

The Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Yuliot, stated that the One Price Fuel Program aligns with President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran’s 17 priority initiatives under the Asta Cita vision, including achieving energy self-sufficiency.

“One Price Fuel will provide widespread positive benefits to society. This government policy aims at delivering equitable welfare to all citizens and minimizing social disparities across regions. Therefore, we must work together to sustain the One Price Fuel initiative towards Indonesia Emas 2045. The government will continue to play an active role in implementing One Price Fuel,” said Yuliot.

The Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, expressed that BPH Migas would remain committed to overseeing the One Price Fuel program, as it is essential in bringing significant benefits to people in remote areas.

“According to Ministerial Regulation No. 36 of 2016, we are tasked with supervising the One Price Fuel program implementation by assigning designated enterprises to develop fuel distribution points in designated locations. Since 2017, we have consistently monitored the One Price Fuel program’s progress to ensure this target’s achievement,” said Erika.

The President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan, emphasized that the One Price Fuel Program reflects Pertamina’s commitment to ensuring affordable energy availability for communities in remote, outermost, and least developed (3T) areas.

“This 40 new One Price Fuel distributors inauguration reflects Pertamina's continued commitment to ensuring energy’s accessibility, affordability, and acceptability for all Indonesians,” stated Riva.

The Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, noted that the One Price Fuel program represents Pertamina’s dedication to equitable energy distribution in the 3T regions.

“Since 2017, Pertamina has consistently expanded the One Price Fuel network, reaching over 500 locations. This highlights Pertamina’s strategic role in realizing national energy resilience that extends to 3T areas,” said Fadjar.

Fadjar added that Pertamina continues to accelerate the One Price Fuel stations development. The company also optimizes all energy distribution infrastructure to guarantee energy availability in 3T regions, adhering to principles of availability, accessibility, affordability, acceptability, and sustainability.

“The One Price Fuel distribution utilizes multi-modal transportation, including land, sea, and air, with special fuel-transport aircraft. Pertamina is committed to ensuring sustainable energy availability,” Fadjar explained.

In addition to ensuring energy availability, Pertamina also keeps fuel prices affordable. Pertamina has allocated a budget to ensure that One Price Fuel is priced uniformly across the country, following the government-set prices.

Previously, fuel prices ranged between IDR 30,000 to IDR 100,000 per liter. Now, the price is equal nationwide, with Solar priced at IDR 6,800 and Pertalite at IDR 10,000 per liter. The One Price Fuel initiative has positively impacted local economic growth.

Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina's business lines and operations.**
