Jakarta, February 2, 2022 – Indonesians are growing more mature in using environmentally friendly energy. Pertamina, as a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) that provides energy for Indonesia, through its Sub Holding Commercial & Trading, Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed in providing, distributing, and innovating to improve distributed fuel quality in Indonesia.
Corporate Secretary of Patra Niaga, SH C&T, Irto Ginting, explained that the consumption of good quality fuel continues to increase. During the past task force, the consumption of Pertamax and Dexlite was above the estimated number of users.
“During the task force period, Pertalite consumption increased by almost 5%, similar to the increase in Pertalite consumption, and for Dexlite consumption increased by more than 26%. People are now more concerned about machine maintenance and the environment through a more environmentally friendly fuel usage," Irto explained.

In addition, we also ensure that the supply facilities and distribution process to gas stations continue to run well to support energy security," added Irto.
Irto continued that education regarding quality fuel usage is Pertamina's commitment because it is beneficial for the vehicle’s performance and for environmental health. According to the data, more than 70% of air pollution is caused by vehicle gas emissions from fuel sulfur content. Therefore, Pertamina continues to offer quality products such as the Pertamax Series and Dex Series that meet the needs and specifications of modern vehicles.
"Engines will certainly be more awake with the presence of additives to clean the engine and good performance. In addition, these products have low sulfur content, so they are more environmentally friendly. In the future, Pertamina's commitment is to improve the quality of fuel products, both in terms of engine specifications, which are currently at least RON 91 and CN 51, as well as from sulfur content to comply with EURO standards," Irto explained.**
