Jakarta, June 3, 2022 – As a business entity that has received an assignment from the country, PT Pertamina (Persero), through Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java (JBB), ensures Fuel (BBM) and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) Subsidies availability and distribution to all remote villages, in the provinces of Banten, West Java, and DKI Jakarta.
To realize this, Pertamina has built and operates the Pertashop Fuel Distribution Agency and 3Kg LPG Base through the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) Program.
Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region, Eko Kristiawan, said that currently, in West Java through the OVOO program, there are 463 Pertashop outlets and 36,661 3 Kg LPG bases operating in 826 sub-districts and 7,784 villages. "With this number of distributions, all sub-districts and villages in Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java which are the program’s target have available Pertashop Outlets and 3 Kg LPG Bases."
Eko also explained that fuel and LPG distribution to all JBB in the Jabodetabek area was distributed from the Jakarta Integrated Terminal. For the Banten area, from the Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal and the Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal. As for the West Java area, from the Ujung Berung Fuel Terminal, Cikampek Fuel Terminal, Padalarang Fuel Terminal, Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal, Balongan Integrated Terminal, and Cirebon LPG Facilities.
“2,031 Fuel Distribution Institutions and 36,661 3 Kg LPG Bases operate in remote villages. Thus, it is easier for people to get fuel and LPG according to the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the government. The prices of basic needs are also becoming more affordable,” Eko added.
Currently, Pertamina continues to socialize and collect data on strategic locations that have the potential to be built by Pertashop.
Nationally, through the energy distribution infrastructure that has been built, Pertamina throughout January - April 2022. has distributed subsidized diesel of about 5.2 million KL volume, Pertalite of around 9 million KL, and subsidized LPG with a volume of about 2.5 million metric tons.
People entitled to subsidies can enjoy affordable subsidized fuel and LPG prices because they are supported by fuel and LPG subsidies from the government. In the 2022 APBN, the government has increased the number of subsidies by IDR 71.8 trillion, as a form of the state's presence to protect the public amid the soaring world crude oil prices.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region, with the support of all stakeholders, will continue to ensure that the subsidized fuel and LPG supply and distribution in the Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java areas, which are so large from the government this year, can be utilized properly, on target and not exceeding the determined quota," said Eko.
People who find indications of misuse or misappropriation of Subsidized fuel in the field can directly contact the Pertamina Call Center at number 135.**
