DIY Won Third Place in Pertamina Soeratin Cup U-15 2017
Yogyakarta – The competition to fight over third place in Pertamina Piala Soeratin 2017 for U-15 category bring together D.I Yogyakarta and Banten. The match will be held in Stadion Maguwoharjo Sleman, Yogyakarta, Friday (27/10) at 15.00 WIB.
What makes this match interesting is the women lead the match. Wiwin Yuningsih, referee from Sumedang, duo assistant referee Azizah Alfionita from Payakumbuh and Mitra Coriena Sjumanja from Langkat, reserve referee Deliana Fatmawati from Bandung, and match supervisor Marti Sugiyani from Temanggung.
During this match, a total of 7 heroine supervise the most prestigious tournament in Indonesia. The match started with a mild tempo because both teams seems to maintain their rhythm, resulting fierce battle in the mid field. Both team relying on long-distance kick but only a few that threatens enemy’s goal post.
On the second half, the play seemed to be open, from a free kick in 32’, D.I Yogyakarta Player with a back number 6, Bagus Khairil Anwar successfully finishes bounced balls from Banten Goalkeeper Drinanda Ario Hanggadanu. D.I Yogyakarta lead 1-0.
In 35’ Banten able to equalize with fast counter attack and beautifully finished by Ehsal Sahrul Muharom to the end goal post of D.I Yogyakarta.
With this equalizing goal, both teams play fiercely, and both of them looks intense. However, both teams did not successfully utilize opportunity, even D.I Yogyakarta had time to take penalty, and is thwarted by Drinanda. Score 1-1 lasts until the second half.
On the second half, the match become more exciting, with both team exchange attacks. There are 4 on-target shooting, but the skill of each keeper keep the score stays the same.
Then, such a bad luck for Banten. In 90’ chaos in front of Banten goal result of corner kick was finished brilliantly by Dwi Pilihanto Nugroho. He becomes the hero of D.I Yogyakarta win with final score 2-1.
Regarding this result, VP Corporate Communication PT Pertamina ( Persero) Adiatma Sardjito congratulate PSS Sleman that positioned 3rd in Pertamina Soeratin Cup U-17 and D.I Yogyakarta team U-15.

With this result, D.I Yogyakarta follow their senior where PSS Sleman U-17 also achieved 3rd position in U-17 category. Next, for the final match and runner-up will be held during Youth Pledge Day on 28 October at 15.00 WIB, continue with the final match and runner-up for U-17 at 18.30 WIB. The match will be held in Maguwoharjo Stadion Sleman.
