October 4, 2021 - PT Pertamina (Persero) is committed to supporting the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement (GBBI) initiated by the Government of Indonesia. This commitment is realized by launching Pertamina SMEXPO on October 12, 2021.

Acting Senior Vice President Corporate Communication & Investor Relations of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fajriyah Usman, said Pertamina SMEXPO was first held in 2020 as Pertamina's innovation to expand the MSME market through virtual exhibitions. It also became a marketplace for MSME, especially Indonesian Foster Partners.

"Now, Pertamina is holding SMEXPO 2021, which presents hundreds of MSMEs from all over Indonesia with thousands of attractive and quality products," she explained.

According to Fajriyah, similar to last year's implementation, MSMEs participating in Pertamina SMEXPO will be divided into several categories. Namely, fashion, craft, agribusiness, furniture, to food and beverages typical of the archipelago. "This year we have an additional feature, namely wholesale products. Thus, visitors can buy MSME products at wholesale prices," she said

Not only providing a place for shopping in the marketplace, but Pertamina SMEXPO also provides more functions for MSMEs that follow it. According to Fajriyah, Pertamina SMEXPO also has programs for MSMEs in the form of Business Matching and Coaching Sessions so that MSMEs can be better prepared to face future challenges and can expand their market.

Meanwhile, visitors can also enjoy various entertainment packaged in the SMEXPO Live Show program. It will feature well-known artists such as Kunto Aji, Novia Bachmid, and Endank Soekamti.

Pertamina is also preparing the SMEXPO Showcase, held in a hybrid manner at a mall in Jakarta from 15 - 17 October 2021. Activities and entertainment will be displayed at the SMEXPO Showcase while implementing health protocols and preventing crowds.
