Elnusa Wins Two Awards at the 2022 GRC & Performance Excellence Award
Jakarta, July 29, 2022 - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), a leading energy services company that provides total solutions, has proven its commitment to implementing good corporate governance by winning awards at the Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) and Performance Excellence Award 2022 on Wednesday (27/07). At the event with the "Collaboration and Harmonization - Achieving Business Goals Together" theme, Elnusa won two award categories "The Best GRC for Corporate Governance & Compliance 2022" Energy Services four diamonds and "The Best Corporate Secretary" Energy Services four diamonds.
This event was attended by around 400 SOEs, BUMD, and private companies who were nominated. The judges, together with the organizing team of experts in the oil and gas industry, senior practitioners from various fields, consultants/agencies as well as academics, and figures from GRC associations/organizations have selected and evaluated these companies' performance and GRC, and about 40 companies that eligible will give presentations to the judges online.
Elnusa was included in one of the companies that had the opportunity to deliver its presentation through material presentations by Elnusa Management. It includes Corporate Secretary Asmal Salam, VP Finance & Treasury Yogi Firdaus, Institutional & Investor Relations Specialist Maharani Cindy Opssedha, Corporate Communications Manager Jayanty Maulina, and Enterprise Risk Management Specialist Nurlaila Machmud. As a result, 24 SOE, BUMD, and private companies were selected by the jury as winners.
Corporate Secretary of Elnusa, Asmal Salam, said, "Receiving this award is a clear proof of management's commitment to implementing good corporate governance and also AKHLAK values implementation form for trust and collaboration from Elnusa Group officers. This achievement can also be used as a room for future improvement in measuring performance achievements in terms of Governance & Compliance”.
"Elnusa has also carried out a GCG Assessment for the 2021 ASEAN CG Scorecard (ACGS) 2022 with a 93.45 score and a 'very good' predicate, meaning that the company has fully complied with international standards as required by ACGS. Furthermore, according to the POJK 35 of 2014 that says the Corporate Secretary is a 'Work Unit' under the President Director of the Company means the award for The Best Corporate Secretary achieved is for the support and belongs to all Elnusa Corporate Secretary Officers," said Asmal.
"We also use this award as encouragement and motivation for all officers in the Elnusa Group to continue maintaining Governance & Compliance performance which has been assessed as good in the stakeholders' eyes and to improve Risk performance to be even better in the future. The company will continue to strive in realizing the company's vision and carry out its mission in fulfilling and maintaining customer satisfaction through synergy, operational excellence, HSSE, and the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)," explained Asmal.
