Energy Availability, Modular Petrol Stations Operated at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023

Lombok, October 15, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures energy availability, especially during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023 event in Mandalika, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. One manifestation of this commitment is the Modular Petrol Stations at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit (PMIC), which can be utilized for supporting vehicles' operation for this event.

President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan, expressed that besides ensuring energy availability for the Indonesian people during this global racing event, Pertamina is also supporting the energy needs like fuel for the operational activities of Dorna Sport.

"Pertamina is always present to maintain the energy supply to the public. In the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023 event, Pertamina also fulfills Dorna Sports’ energy needs, the owner and brand holder of MotoGP," he stated.

He hopes that with the support of the Modular Petrol Station facilities for Dorna Sports activities, this event will run smoothly, bringing a good name for Indonesia.

Modular Petrol Station’s operator, Lalu Safrino, added that the Modular Petrol Station was constructed a week before the event. It started operating on October 12.

"At this circuit, only one Modular Petrol Station located near the paddock. We have designated this petrol station specifically for the operational vehicles of the Dorna team. Access to this area is restricted. The available product is only Pertamax Turbo, and payment is made through Pertamina Retail BBK vouchers," Lalu said.

The Modular Petrol Station provides Pertamax Turbo, the highest octane rating of RON98, with the advantages of Ecosave and Ignition Booth Formula (IBF) technology. This formula ensures Pertamax Turbo have a perfect combustion process, making it suitable for high-tech engines. Pertamax Turbo also enhances the vehicle's engine performance, making it more responsive while maintaining engine cleanliness.

The Modular Petrol Station at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023 manages the refueling of Pertamax Turbo for the operational vehicles used by participants, safety cars, marshals, and medical rescue. Pertamina has prepared 4,000 liters of fuel for this event.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, added that Pertamina fully supports the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023. To make this second-year event a success, Pertamina is preparing better infrastructure and facilities to fulfill Dorna Sports and the public’s needs.
