Enliven the GBBI SMEXPO 2021 Event, Pertamina Holds a TikTok Competition with a Total Prize of Tens of Millions Rupiah

Jakarta, September 22, 2021 – The highlight of the Proudly Made in Indonesia East Kalimantan Movement (GBBI Kaltim) and Pertamina SMEXPO is less than a month away. The event that will be held in mid-October will be enlivened by various series of activities. One of them is TikTok Competition that can be joined by Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and the general public.

Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman explained that this TikTok Competition is a competition for everyone to make a TikTok video and participate in supporting the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement.

“Everyone is free to be as creative as possible to make TikTok videos that have an element of Proudly Made in Indonesia and use the predetermined hashtags. The winners will be chosen from the best videos and videos with the highest views,” she stated.

Fajriyah added, there are 3 (three) categories in this competition. The first one is Tell Your Business. The participants can create TikTok contents that tell about the business that they are currently doing. For instance, the place of the business, the coverage area, and the product variants. Second, review or share MSMEs products. The contents are contained of reviews of purchased MSMEs products. Starting from the form, the usability, to the quality of the MSMEs products.

Lastly, the traditional East Kalimantan Dance. The participants are asked to create TikTok contents that show traditional East Kalimantan dances. It can be varied with East Kalimantan’s traditional song and clothing. “Why East Kalimantan? Because, the GBBI SMEXPO 2021 event will be held in a hybrid manner this time, with the offline exhibition in the East Kalimantan region,” she said.

Participants can upload their contents starting from September 17, 2021, until before the announcement deadline on the upcoming October 13 and 14. Winners from each category will get 1st Place: IDR 5 million of LinkAja Voucher; 2nd Place: IDR 2 million of LinkAja Voucher; and 3rd Place IDR 1 million of LinkAja voucher. “Don’t waste this opportunity and participate in enlivening the GBBI SMEXPO 2021 event,” she said.
