Jakarta, December 14, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) has established a Task Force (Satgas) for Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2024 to ensure energy availability for the public across Indonesia during the Christmas and New Year holiday period. The Nataru Pertamina Task Force will be active from December 15, 2023, to January 7, 2024.
According to data from the Ministry of Transportation, the movement of people during the Nataru 2023-2024 holiday potentially reaches 107.63 million individuals. There are approximately 87.19 million people traveling by land, 13.38 million by air/aircraft, and 10.64 million by sea/ship.

Pertamina has also coordinates with the Central and Regional Governments, other SOEs, and the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) and Polri (Indonesian National Police) to ensure safe and smooth energy distribution.
"Nataru Task Force will operate from December 15, 2023, to January 7, 2024. Pertamina is on standby 24 hours to ensure energy supply and maintain the smooth distribution of energy with the support and cooperation of relevant agencies," Fadjar said.
On the upstream side, Fadjar added, through PT Pertamina Hulu Energi and its subsidiaries, they continue to maintain oil and gas production according to targets. The result is upstream oil and gas production reaching 1,044 MBOEPD (Thousand Barrels of Oil Equivalent/Barrels of Oil Equivalent per Day) or more than one million barrels of oil per day. This achievement is from the management of 42 blocks.
In processing, through PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, they have secured crude oil stocks in a safe position with a processing capacity of 1 million barrels per day. All refinery productions, including gasoline, gasoil, and aviation fuel, are above the target by 1–2 percent.
"Pertamina is also ready to distribute energy by providing 329 vessels ranging from fuel carriers, LPG, aviation fuel to crude oil, both domestically and internationally operated by PT Pertamina International Shipping," he added.
Fadjar further stated that nationally, the fuel, LPG, and aviation fuel stocks are currently in a safe condition, and all infrastructure has been prepared, including 115 Fuel Terminals, 30 LPG Terminals, over 7,400 gas stations (SPBU), 48 thousand LPG agents/outlets, and 71 Aircraft Refueling Depots (DPPU).

Pertamina guarantees natural gas distribution to 3,019 Commercial and Industrial customers, 1,967 Small customers, and 834,165 household customers. At the same time, Pertamina optimizes natural gas infrastructure for power plants and maintains distribution for transportation customers by ensuring a capacity of 177,750 LSP (liter equivalent premium) for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), CNG Stations, and Mobile Refueling Units.
Pertamina, through Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE), also ensures a stable supply of electricity from renewable energy during this period. Pertamina currently manages a generation capacity of 672.5 MW.
