Jakarta, May 31, 2022 - As a business entity assigned by the State, PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures Subsidized Fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) availability and supply in all corners of Nusantara, from Sabang to Merauke, from Miangas to Rote Island in order to realize equitable energy.
Pertamina built and operated the One Price Fuel Program Distribution Agency, as well as the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) Program to actualize this hope.
Acting Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Heppy Wulansari, said the One Price Fuel program has run since 2017 President Joko Widodo’s direction. One Price Fuel are spread in the foremost, outermost, and underdeveloped areas (3T) in 112 districts in Indonesia and 328 distribution institutions.
The government aims to reach 92 one price fuel points by 2022, with as many as seven points divided between West Kalimantan (two points), Central Kalimantan (one point), North Sulawesi (one point), and the Maluku Islands (three points). In addition, as many as 65 points of One Fuel Price are being developed and licensed by the Regional Government. In addition, Pertamina has also developed 217,687 3-kg LPG bases spread over 61,801 villages.
"Through OVOO, Pertamina will continue to expand the coverage of 3 kg LPG to all villages, to make it easier to reach and encourage rural economic growth," Heppy added.
Through the energy distribution infrastructure, From January-April 2022, Pertamina has distributed diesel subsidies with a volume of around 5.2 million KL, Pertalite around 9 million KL, and subsidized LPG with a volume of about 2.5 million metric tons.
Entitled subsidies users can enjoy affordable subsidized fuel and LPG, which are supported by the government. In the 2022 APBN, the government has increased the subsidy amount to IDR 71.8 trillion, as a form of the state's presence to protect the public in the midst of increasing global crude oil prices.
"Pertamina, supported by all stakeholders, will ensure the fuel and LPG provision and distribution subsidies so that such large government subsidies this year can be utilized properly, on target, and not exceeding the quota," Heppy said.
