Go Collaborative, Pertamina SMEXPO Collaborates with 250 MSMEs

Jakarta, September 24, 2021 – PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the progress of Indonesia's MSMEs as the backbone of the national economy. Through Go Collaborative, Pertamina cooperates with 250 MSMEs to be actively involved in Pertamina SMEXPO 2021.

Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said Pertamina would continue to play an active role as a locomotive in boosting the national economy. Through SMEXPO 2021, Pertamina encourages Indonesian MSMEs to survive, advance, and go international.

"We all have to keep innovating and keep up with the times. Not only Indonesian SMEs, but also Pertamina," said Fajriyah.

According to Fajriyah, Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 cooperates with MSMEs from various regions in Indonesia to participate in the SMEXPO marketplace. "We have prepared a platform for Indonesian MSMEs to develop markets, not only domestically but also overseas," added Fajriyah.

In the Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 marketplace, continued Fajriyah, MSME can find up to thousands of quality MSME products, original creations of the nation's children. Similar to the Pertamina SMEXPO last year, the SMEs involved are divided into several categories. There are categories of Food and Beverage, Clothing, Furniture, Crafts, Agrobusiness, and Wholesale Products.

Regarding the use of social media, Fajriyah said, Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 will also hold a TikTok Competition. "There will be three categories to be contested. Namely, the Tell Your Business Category, the MSME Product Share/Review Category, and the East Kalimantan Typical Dance Category. Thus, Indonesian MSMEs can also synergize various social media channels to promote their products," said Fajriyah.

This spirit of synergy also underlies the implementation of this event. Fajriyah said Pertamina SMEXPO 2021 is one way to support the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement East Kalimantan in October 2021. "Pertamina SMEXPO certainly supports events that have the same spirit for the advancement of Indonesian MSMEs," she said.

As is known, Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 was held for three days, on September 9-11, 2020. This event presented 1,780 MSME products from 100 selected Pertamina foster partners. In last year's activity, Pertamina SMEXPO received the MURI Record award of Online MSME Expo with the Most Products.
