Jakarta, October 15, 2020 – Even though it is still the Covid-19 Pandemic, PT Pertamina (Persero) efforts through the Partnership Program to promote their Fostered MSME products continues. Several online MSMEs' exhibitions are continued to be held. One of them is Online MSMEs Bazaar held by Rumah BUMN (RB) Purbalingga on last October 9-11.
The products that are offered have many variations. There are three categories for the products. It includes culinary products, both Purbalingga culinary specialties and other processed culinary delights made by RB Purbalingga MSMEs. Then there is the fashion category, such as batik, shoes, sandals, and other products. The last is handicraft products.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said that the online MSMEs bazaar held by RB Purbalingga was the first time in the Purbalingga area. "The success of the Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 virtual MSMEs exhibition becomes an example for future exhibitions. Many MSMEs felt helped by the exhibition because it helped normalize their marketing," she said.
Fajriyah explained, the concept of the online bazaar RB Purbalingga is slightly different from Pertamina SMEXPO. 15 MSMEs attended the bazaar. They participated for three days with the distribution of five MSMEs every day. "Each MSME is given a maximum duration of 30 minutes to promote its products," she added.
For the medium, the promotion of MSME products is assisted by local influencers in Purbalingga. Then broadcast simultaneously (live) on several social media platforms. Among them are the FB, IG, and Youtube of RB Purbalingga accounts (@ rumahbumn.purbalingga). Furthermore, there are one FB account, 2 IG accounts, and 4 Youtube channels belonging to local influencers. And lastly, of course, the social media accounts of the participating MSMEs.
"This online bazaar attracted the attention of many parties. Not only the residents of Purbalingga themselves, but also outside the city. Those who are left behind and want to take part in the event can come back in November 2020. Further information can be received through social media @rumahbumn.purbalingga," she said.
RB Purbalingga, continued Fajriyah, provides several facilities in transactions. For people around Purbalingga, products' purchase and delivery can be done directly or Cash on Delivery (COD). Meanwhile, for buyers outside the city or who do not want to bother leaving the house, delivery can be made using the Indonesian Post Office's services.
Fajriyah invited the general public to attend the event. Because, through the online MSMEs bazaar, it can help MSMEs to be able to survive during a pandemic like today. Apart from that, it also helps to turn the economy's wheels both for the MSMEs itself and the workers who are under the MSMEs.
Fajriyah said this effort was a form of implementation of the Goal 8 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth and a full and productive workforce. "Where it is hoped that it can help people get decent jobs and encourage national economic growth," she concluded.**
