Hero’s Day: President Director of Pertamina Encourages Officers to Become Warriors of Energy Resilience, Independence, and Sovereignty

Jakarta, November 10, 2024 – In commemorating Hero’s Day 2024, Pertamina Group's Management and Officers held a flag-raising ceremony at Pertamina’s headquarters in Jakarta [November 10, 2024].  

The ceremony was led by the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, accompanied by the Directors and Management of Pertamina Group.  

During the event, the President Director emphasized that, following the mandate of President Prabowo Subianto, Pertamina serves as a pillar of the nation. Therefore, officers must remain loyal to the Indonesian nation and people, as well as to the national flag, the red and white.  

“On this historic day, I call on all officers, our big Pertamina family, to continue giving our best service. One day, history will recognize us all as heroes, as warriors of energy resilience, independence, and sovereignty for the Indonesian nation,” said Simon to all Pertamina officers.  

At the same event, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina, Brahmantya Satyamurti Poerwadi, added that Hero’s Day for Pertamina Officers signifies hard work and honesty in fulfilling Pertamina’s mission of safeguarding Indonesia’s energy.  

“Pertamina Officers play a crucial role in advancing Indonesia’s economy through energy. They must work hand in hand with the community, particularly in the energy development in Indonesia,” Brahmantya said.  

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, noted that the Hero’s Day commemoration serves as a moment of unity between Management and Officers. It aims to foster nationalism, contribute to and innovate in the energy sector, strengthen unity and solidarity among officers, and enhance the social values of comradery to advance Pertamina and Indonesia.**
