Jakarta, September 10, 2020 – Pertamina collaborates with nine companies to implement the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) in the construction of Pertashop, which reached 71 percent. The companies include 3 SOE and six private companies. The three SOEs that are collaborating are PT. Pindad (Persero), PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) and PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. Meanwhile, the other six companies are national private companies with factories located in Purwakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, Padang, and Balikpapan.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said that the nine domestic manufacturers that are Pertamina's partners provide most of the materials for modular manufacturing, including the Pertashop totem which is made by 100% Indonesian workers. Thus, as of now, TKDN in Pertashop has reached 71 percent and will continue to be increased in line with the addition of domestic manufacturing partners for the construction process to pursue the operational target of 4,558 Pertashop outlets by the end of 2020.
"The high TKDN in the construction of Pertashop is Pertamina's commitment to supporting the growth of the domestic manufacturing industry so that it can open more jobs and encourage national economic growth," said Fajriyah.
According to Fajriyah, as of September 2020, Pertamina has built 576 Pertashop outlets throughout Indonesia. "For the construction of Pertashop to be on target, Pertamina needs to collaborate with the domestic manufacturing industry together to make the Pertashop program successful," added Fajriyah.
Pertashop, continued Fajriyah, is a joint program with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), which is supported by the Provincial Government, District / City Governments to Village Governments throughout Indonesia. It aims to encourage economic growth in rural areas. Pertashop is hoped to be a village energy business center so that it becomes a center for new economic growth that will absorb labor and encourage the economic movement of the community.
"For Pertamina, Pertashop is part of Pertamina's commitment to carry out the mandate in national energy management that prioritizes availability, accessibility, acceptability, affordability, and sustainability," concluded Fajriyah.**
