Implementing Digital Security, Pertamina Collaborates with Peruri to Strengthen Integrity and Transparency  

Jakarta, August 10, 2020 – As a commitment to strengthen integrity and transparency, Pertamina collaborates with Perum Peruri on the utilization of electronic certificates, digital solutions, security codes, and electronic signatures to improve the security of electronic transactions and other digital security services.

The commitment is stated in the MoU between PT Pertamina (Persero) and Perum Peruri, which was signed by the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Nicke Widyawati, and President Director of Perum Peruri, Dwina Septiani, in Jakarta, Monday (10/8).

President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, said to execute better corporate activities, Good Corporate Governance is needed, in which it includes Pertamina's personnel.

"The main factor for successful transformation is the integrity of all employees," said Nicke.

Nicked added that the memorandum of understanding is also a part of the implementation of ISO 37001:2016 regarding the Anti-Bribery Management System in the company, which is in line with the SOEs' values (AKHLAK), especially to uphold the trust that is given.

Nicke hopes that this collaboration can provide an even better improvement on the service quality to all stakeholders and customers, including assuring the authenticity of Pertamina's products. Perum Peruri is collaborating with Pertamina because Perum Peruri has been proven to provide digital security services with the highest and best security levels.

"Hopefully, this collaboration can be a form of Pertamina's contribution to Indonesia in which it can make our country stronger and with integrity. Also, Pertamina can provide the best service for the Indonesian people," added Nicke.

Dwina Septiani, President Director of Perum Peruri, expressed her gratitude to Pertamina for providing the opportunity and trust to support the digital transformation process to improve work effectiveness, integration, and directed and sustainable work pattern at Pertamina.

"We are ready to support the Pertamina Digitalization Program to accelerate Pertamina's business processes.  Therefore, it can create a company that has global competitiveness and remains clean and transparent," said Dwina.

The scope of the memorandum of understanding includes the utilization of the Peruri Code, Peruri Sign, and Peruri Trust products and services.

Peruri Code is a unique code produced by the Peruri system on the security label of documents and other media to store public and private information. Peruri Code has an important role in authentication, distribution control (supply chain), and brand image protection.

Peruri Sign is a platform owned by Peruri to guarantee data confidentiality, protect the integrity of document contents (data integrity), ensure data authenticity (authentication), and non-repudiation of an electronic document so that its validity and authenticity can be known.

Peruri Trust is a Peruri digital platform that utilizes Peruri Code and Peruri Sign products to be able to perform end-to-end real-time monitoring functions.

The signing of the MoU between Pertamina and Perum Peruri is in line with Pertamina's restructuring program to carry out a sustainable transformation to improve performance and services to stakeholders, especially the community, in providing national energy.**
