Inauguration of Perta Arun Gas Bonded Logistics Center (PLB) & 1st Arrival of Arun LNG Hub Cargo

Lhokseumawe - Perta Arun Gas held the inauguration of PT Perta Arun Gas Bonded Logistics Center (Pusat Logistik Berikat / PLB) Operations along with the arrival of the first cargo LNG storage business (LNG Hub) at Arun PAG Refinery site, Lhokseumawe (02/04).

The Inscription signed by the Acting Governor of Aceh, Ir. Nova Iriansyah M.T. and Head of Regional Office of the Aceh Customs Directorate, Ir. Novan Irfyandi M.A., as a sign that the PLB PAG area was inaugurated. This event was also attended by North Aceh Regent H. Muhammad Thaib, Deputy Mayor of Lhokseumawe Yusuf Muhammad, Aceh Forkopimda Board, Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Head of Lhokseumawe Customs & Excise Service Office (KPPBC) and Team, PT Perta Board of Commissioners Arun Gas, Pertamina Group Leadership Representatives such as Representatives of the Corporate Marketing Directorate, PGN Marketing Head Division, PGN LNG, PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental, PT Pertamina Gas, PT Pertagas Niaga, PT PHE NSB NSO, other Company Leaders and Community Leaders and Alim Ulama Lhokseumawe area. While the Inauguration of the Arrival of the 1st Cargo Arun LNG Hub was also accompanied by a siren keystroke by the Acting Governor of Aceh, President Director of PAG, Managing Director Arif Basuki and Managing Executive Officer of Kyushu Electric.

Previously, on September 7, 2016, PT Perta Arun Gas had been appointed as a PLB Entrepreneur by the Minister of Finance Indonesia through the Minister of Finance Decree No. 1693 / KM.4 / 2016. On this occasion, the government officially appointed Perta Arun Gas (PAG) to be trusted as the PLB manager. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution and Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita handed over certificates which were proof of official appointment as managers of the Bonded Logistics Center in the Aceh region.

Then, this PLB permit was signed by the Minister of Finance Decree No. 01 / KM.4 / WBC.01 / 2019 related to the granting of PLB licenses and permits for PLB entrepreneurs to PT Perta Arun Gas.

In his speech, Acting Governor, Ir Nova Iriansyah M.T. explained that in addition to being a PLB area, PT. Perta Arun Gas is also located in the Arun Lhokseumawe Special Economic Zone which was established by Government Regulation No. 5/2017 dated February 17, 2017, and was inaugurated by the Indonesian President Joko Widodo on December 14, 2018 ago.

Therefore, with the existence of PLB and LNG Hub managed by PAG, it is expected to contribute for industrial growth in the Arun Lhokseumawe SEZ region in particular and Aceh in general.

"The target is to invite investors in strategic sectors, such as industry, logistics, energy, exports and tourism. With the existence of the PLB managed by PAG, it will be a supporting factor in the progress of the Arun Lhokseumawe and Aceh SEZs in general, "Nova Iriansyah said.

Arif Widodo as President Director of PT Perta Arun Gas explained that one of the businesses carried out at PLB PAG is the LNG Hub business. The LNG Business Hub is an LNG storage business in LNG tanks owned by PAG. Consumers who use the LNG Hub business save LNG from international and / or domestic sources in LNG tanks owned by PAG. Furthermore, the LNG will be taken and distributed according to the needs of consumers.
Perta Arun Gas has reaching agreemeent with PPT Energy Trading Singapore Pte. Ltd. by signing Terminal Use Head of Agreement (HoA) on February 6, 2019. PAG acts as terminal owner of LNG storage and receiving terminal while PPT Energy Trading Singapore acts as capacity holders. This agreement is one of the important moments PLB operates effectively.

The agreement with PPT Energy Trading Singapore is also part of the implementation of the optimization program for Ex PT Arun assets in the form of LNG storage assets F6001 & F6002. The two LNG tank units at the PAG refinery have a total capacity of 210,000 m3 (net) that has been leased through the State Asset Management Agency (LMAN).

The arrival of the First Cargo LNG which is scheduled to arrive on April 2, 2019, arrives at Blang Lancang Port today at 09.00 WIB. This ship, called Grace Barleria (LNG Tanker), carried a cargo with a capacity of 142,200 m3.

"PAG hopes that our bussines can bring many benefits to the Aceh Province, especially the Acehnese people," Arif said.

"With the increase in revenue for PAG, we hope that PAG can increasingly participate in Aceh's economic development.
