Semarang, April 30, 2022 - The National Police Chief, the Governor of Central Java, the Central Java Police Chief, accompanied by the Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java, Dwi Puja Aristya, visited the Kalikangkung Toll Gate in Semarang on Wednesday (27/04) to ensure that the related agencies can support Eid Al Fitr 1443 H/2022 homecoming flow.
"We, the entire police force and other stakeholders, to focus on the safety of travelers," said the National Police Chief, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
He added that he appreciates Pertamina's commitment to preparing fuel along the homecoming route, either through toll or regular roads.
"I think Pertamina is ready to serve travelers, including the one-way application scenario," he said.
Dwi Puja Ariestya, Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java, said several sections prone to traffic jams are prepared with Pocket Petrol Stations and Pertamina Delivery Service on standby if needed.
Dwi emphasized that the stockpiles of fuel, LPG, and Avtur in Central Java are sufficient and will be optimized ahead of the Eid Al Fitr homecoming peak flow.
"Through the RAFI Task Force (Ramadan Eid al-Fitr), Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java is committed to meeting the energy needs of travelers both on the homecoming and return flows, Therefore, consumers do not need to worry. However, we also urge travelers to fill their vehicle tanks early at a certain point to minimize the potential for refueling at the rest area," Dwi explained.
