Leading Pertamina to Achieve Best Performance, Nicke Widyawati Named Indonesia’s Leading Female Business Leader

Jakarta, August 8, 2024 - PT Pertamina (Persero) achieved its best-ever positive performance in 2023, marking a historic milestone for the company. This achievement is largely due to Nicke Widyawati’s leadership at Pertamina. Nicke successfully transformed the company and introduced various business innovations, leading to Pertamina's continued positive performance.

As a result of this accomplishment, Nicke was named Indonesia’s leading female business leader in the "Indonesia Most Powerful Women 2024" event organized by Swa Magazine. Nicke received the highest score among 21 female business leaders in Indonesia who were included in the "Indonesia's Most Extraordinary Women Business Leaders" category.

"Since the organizational restructurization, Pertamina's consolidated financial performance has shown a positive trend, continuing to improve year after year. On the other hand, operational performance across all lines, both in the holding company and subsidiaries, has become increasingly solid and reliable," said Nicke.

Nicke added that Pertamina has also successfully implemented various cost optimization programs, preventing potential losses and contributing approximately USD 1.1 billion. "Pertamina's business management is becoming more efficient, agile, and adaptive," Nicke continued.
