Jakarta, April 19, 2024 - PT Pertamina (Persero) is committed to supporting the smooth transportation of the Lebaran homecoming and return flow through the Ramadan Idulfitri 2024 Task Force (Satgas RAFI 2024).
"In the 2024 Lebaran return flow, Pertamina, through its transportation sector subsidiary Pelita Air, achieved an on-time performance of up to 95%," explained Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero).
Corporate Secretary of Pelita Air, Agdya Yogandari, stated that Pelita Air (flight code IP), a medium service airline, achieved an average on-time performance (OTP) rate of 95 percent during the peak season period of the 2024 Lebaran return flow. It demonstrates Pelita Air's commitment to operational and service excellence amidst the peak season.
"Pelita Air continuously strives to maintain operational smoothness and flight services during the 2024 Lebaran homecoming period, especially during this return flow period, through intensive coordination with partners and other aviation industry stakeholders, particularly airport service providers," explained Agdya. According to her, one aspect of this is reflected in Pelita Air's achievement of a 95 percent average on-time performance amid this year's Lebaran homecoming peak season.
Additionally, Agdya continued to ensure smooth flight services, especially regarding airport baggage handling. Pelita Air coordinates intensively with airport authorities to ensure smooth baggage handling and to prevent baggage queue congestion during this peak return flow period.

We continue to closely monitor and evaluate flight services during the Lebaran transportation period, which ended yesterday, April 18, 2024, and thereafter, as the return flow is predicted to continue until Sunday, April 21. We also express our gratitude to all partners and aviation industry stakeholders for their coordination, which has contributed to the smoothness and comfort of flight services during this Lebaran homecoming and holiday period," said Agdya Yogandari.
