Mass Media’s Editor-in-Chief Visited Pertamina's Fostered Partners’ Sites in Yogyakarta

Jakarta, December 18, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) invited the mass media’s editor-in-chief to visit several of Pertamina's fostered partners’ sites in Yogyakarta, simultaneously presenting Pertamina Group’s performance.

The event, "Pemred Tour De Jogja" took place from December 15 to 17, 2023, and was combined with the Pertamina Journalism Award Night (AJP) 2023.

Vice President of Corporate Communications of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, explained that this visit with the editor-in-chief was aimed to knit a good relationships and fostering connections with the mass media while providing updates regarding the Pertamina Group’s performance.

"The Directors of Pertamina’s Sub-holdings also delivered updates on the performance across various business lines within the company. This allows the chief editors to acquire information not solely from the Holding company," stated Fadjar.

During the visit, Fadjar continued, the Directors of Pertamina, alongside 36 leaders from mass media, visited Pertamina's fostered MSME locations, including the environmentally friendly product crafters Joglo Ayu Tenan in Yogyakarta. They also visited the Village Economic Hall (Balkondes) of Wringinputih Village, located around the Borobudur Temple tourist area. At this site, which is part of Pertamina's CSR program, the mass media’s chief editors tried batik-making alongside the crafters within the Balkondes area.

The delegation was also treated to various typical Indonesian cuisines while engaging in relaxed dialogues and providing direct feedback to the Pertamina Group Directors.

"This harmonious atmosphere is incredibly beneficial for building communication between Pertamina and the mass media as pillars of democracy, delivering information objectively, professionally, and impartially," concluded Fadjar.
