Jakarta, August 15, 2020 – Since the beginning of the Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) program or delivery service was introduced to the public in August 2019. As of today, there had been around 25 thousand good orders of LPG and Fuel deliveries. It is undeniable that the increase in orders occurred during the pandemic. Pertamina Lubricant Home Service (PLHS), which has only started since March 2020 or since the PSBB policy began to be implemented, in one month, the demand has reached an average of 500 deliveries.
"Since the PSBB took effect last March, requests through the PDS have seen a significant increase. The peak was in June 2020, which reached around 9 thousand orders," said Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fajriyah Usman.
Fajriyah explained that since the pandemic, Pertamina is more proactive in maximizing programs that can reach the consumers immediately in which they offer the convenience of getting a variety of products without having to leave the house. It is open every day and can be accessed by simply contacting the Pertamina 135 call center or the MyPertamina application.
Bright Gas product services from Pertamina LPG agents have reached 327 cities/regencies, while BBM from gas stations reaches 151 cities/regencies. The expansion of the delivery service area is continuously carried out to reach big, medium, and small cities. "PDS can reach as many as 5,930 sub-districts, and PDS services have reached almost all of Indonesia," she added.
"The services provided by PDS includes all the energy needs of customers, starting from fuel needs (not including Premium, Pertalite, and Biosolar), to household gas. Likewise, PLHS embraces Pertamina Lubricant channel workshops to carry out checks, engine repairs, and oil changes at home," added Fajriyah.
Payment for the delivery service can be made with cash at home or the place of the order, or it can also be paid through the MyPertamina application. For BBM, vouchers can also be used. During the order, the cellphone must be active to receive confirmation of the order from the officer or operator.
"All delivery officers and the products have been disinfected to ensure that it is sterile from the virus. While interacting with the consumer, distance is maintained according to the established protocols for Covid-19 prevention," concluded Fajriyah.**
