Meeting the Governor and the Riau Government, Pertamina Hulu Rokan Director Gives 200,000 Masks  

Pekanbaru, November 12, 2020 - Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR), RP Yudantoro and PHR management, the Pertamina Company Secretariat and the Jakarta SKK Migas Team and other Sumbagut representatives met with the Governor of Riau Syamsuar and the ranks of the regency and city government in Pekanbaru. PHR also handed over 200 thousand masks for the Rokan work area (WK).

The meeting with the Governor and regional leaders of Riau was in the framework of a Courtesy Visit, which took place at the Pauh Janggi Gubernuran Regional Building, Pekanbaru City, Riau, Wednesday (11/11/2020). Also attending the meeting were several regional heads at WK Rokan, including the Regent of Kampar, Acting Regent of Siak, Acting Regent of Rokan Hulu (Rohul), Acting Regent of Rokan Hilir (Rohil), Mayor of Dumai, Mayor of Pekanbaru. Also present were representatives of SKK Migas Sumbagut, Polda Riau, and Korem Riau.

Director of PHR, Yudantoro, said the meeting was also to introduce the PHR management team to Riau's regional leaders. With the hope that there will be good communication and synergy in the operations and management of the Rokan Block.

"Following the government's decision that Pertamina through PHR is appointed as the Rokan Block operator starting August 9, 2021. For that, it is important for us to introduce ourselves to the host so that there are good communication and synergy in managing the Rokan Block in the future," said Yudantoro.

Yudantoro hopes that communication and synergy between PHR and stakeholders in Riau can run well. He also expressed his gratitude for the support of all parties in Riau related to PHR's operational activities in the Rokan Block, which is currently still in the transition stage.

"Of course, we have the spirit to continue to contribute to development in Riau Province, which will also have a good impact on improving the economy and welfare of the people of Riau," he said.

During the meeting, Yudantoro also handed over 200 thousand pieces of cloth masks for the Riau people at WK Rokan. Riau Governor Syamsuar received the aid directly. This assistance is in line with the Governor of Riau's program for the prevention of Covid-19 in Riau.

"We hope that this assistance can be used directly by the people of Riau for health and prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Riau," said Yudantoro.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Riau Syamsuar appreciated the friendship with government officials in Riau and the assistance of masks from PHR. Syamsuar also emphasized his party's commitment to supporting PHR activities in the Rokan Block.

"Preparation for this transfer of management is not too long. For that, we have much to communicate regarding the Rokan Block in the future. Our commitment is the same. Namely, the Riau Provincial Government and Riau people want the Rokan Block oil and gas production to increase further. We support the PHR, which has already been given the trust to manage this Rokan Block," said Syamsuar.**
