Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Appreciates the Readiness of the Nataru Pertamina Patra Niaga Task Force

Jakarta, December 25, 2021 – In order to ensure supply reliability and safe distribution of fuel, LPG, and avtur during Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Arifin Tasrif, did a working visit to the Fuel Terminal Padalarang, West Java, on Friday (24/12).

"All personnel is ready to carry out all their duties, especially Pertamina Patra Niaga to continue serving the community so people can get fuel by the end of this year," said Arifin.

The visit of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif was accompanied by the Secretary-General of MEMR Ego Syahrial, Director General of Electricity Rida Mulyana, Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati, Director of Downstream Oil and Gas Soerjaningsih, President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Alfian Nasution, and Executive GM West Java Region Waljianto.

On this occasion, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources also appreciated the efforts made by Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading PT Pertamina (Persero), in ensuring the availability of energy for the community. He also thanked and gave encouragement to Pertamina workers on duty during Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022.

On the same occasion, President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Alfian Nasution said the presence of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources at the Padalarang Fuel Terminal was also an encouragement for Pertamina Patra Niaga workers. Especially workers who work in the Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 (Nataru) Task Force teams.

Alfian said that although the PPKM (Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement) policy was still being implemented, the Pertamina Patra Niaga Nataru Task Force team continued to strive optimally as in the Nataru Task Force in previous years. This is carried out through monitoring stock availability, anticipating an increase in fuel demand on tourist routes, providing additional facilities and services at potentially congested points, and ensuring a sufficient distribution of fuel and LPG for the community.

"Nationally, the stock of fuel, LPG, and aviation fuel is monitored very well. We also anticipate fuel consumption in locations that have a lot of activities during Christmas, and at tourist sites. In addition, we also provide additional services that operate optimally. So that people can enjoy the Christmas and New Year holidays in peace,” explained Alfian.

Alfian explained, as many as 114 BBM terminals, 23 LPG terminals, 68 Aircraft Filling Depots (DPPU), more than 7,400 gas stations, as well as the entire LPG distribution chain starting from LPG Bulk Filling and Transportation Stations (SPPBE) to LPG agents and bases both subsidies and non-subsidies, have been prepared to fulfill the energy needs of the community.

Pertamina Patra Niaga also provides additional services and facilities. Namely 1,077 standby petrol stations on regular routes, 64 standby petrol stations on toll roads, 219 motorists or Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) fleets, 144 petrol station fuel bag points, 37 units of Pertashop or modular petrol stations, and more than 48 thousand LPG standby agents and bases. Moreover, services at 68 DPPU will also continue to be on standby to fulfill the avtur needs of all airlines. In addition to operational reliability, Pertamina Patra Niaga also provides antigen services for consumers at 25 petrol stations.
