Bangka, 28 April 2022 - PT Pertamina (Persero) continues its commitment to meeting the community fuel (BBM) needs.
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE), Erick Thohir, and President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Nicke Widyawati, expressed their appreciation and support to the Bangka Belitung Regional Police for the firm action against fuel misuse in the Bangka region, Thursday (28/04).
"We appreciate and support the police, especially the Bangka Belitung Police, who have taken action against the subsidized fuel misuse. Therefore, subsidized fuel can be used by people entitled to it," said Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero).
Pertamina will impose sanctions on every petrol station proven to violate the applicable regulations. The sanctions will be enforced after the task force Rafi period.
Pertamina continues to synergize and fully support the efforts and steps of the police to oversee the distribution of subsidized fuel.
In addition to coordinating with the apparatus, Pertamina also implments petrol station digitalization and installing CCTV in all petrol stations to monitor subsidized fuel distribution. Thus, it reaches the target.
Pertamina ensures service readiness at all petrol stations and LPG agents ahead of Eid al-Fitr by preparing additional services. It includes three standby petrol stations, 13 standby LPG agents, 189 standby LPG bases, and onemotorist, ready to serve people's energy needs in the Bangka Islands.
Pertamina urges all people to use subsidized fuel according to its designation.
If the public finds indications of fraud, the public can immediately report it to law enforcement officials or through the Pertamina Call Center (PCC) 135**
