More Than 1800 Pertamina's Fostered Partners Already Went Digital, Pertamina is Focusing on MSMEs Trainings in the Pandemic Era

Jakarta, September 3, 2020 – PT Pertamina (Persero) is continuously committed to supporting the business independence of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Around 1800 of Pertamina's fostered partners have succeeded in the utilization of digital technology.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, informed that since the beginning of the pandemic, Pertamina had done many trainings that is related to digitalization.  It includes digital training to survive in the era of COVID-19, online marketing, branding, business strategy, creative skills, and finance. "Pertamina also accommodates its fostered partners with MSMEs digital market training, E-learning platform, digitalization and e-commerce along with media social optimization," she added.

Fajriyah also added that Pertamina is committed to supporting the government in the National Economic Recovery (Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN)) by presenting the biggest virtual exhibition in Indonesia, namely Pertamina SMEXPO 2020, on 9-11 September 2020. 100 MSMEs will join the Pertamina SMEXPO 2020 and offer their export quality MSMEs products.

"From digital marketing, the sales coverage will be wider and easier to recognized by people," said Lidya, Nio EL Owner, Pertamina's fostered partners which products are copper wire accessories.

Besides partnering with MSMEs as fostered partners, Pertamina also synergized with other parties in the framework of Strategic Partner Synergy. The parties involved include SOEs, universities, MSMEs companion institutions, and other parties. The aim is for mentoring, coaching, maintaining the collectability and competence value of MSMEs.

Namely supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth and a full and productive workforce.
