Jakarta, November 26, 2023 - The annual Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 on Sunday (26/11) was lively. Particularly after the race, attendees could enjoy a music festival featuring various local artists.
Anticipating the visitors’ enthusiasm, Pertamina made efforts to cater to their needs by providing dozens of food and beverage stands, as well as creativity booths and partnerships with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, revealed that Pertamina collaborated with various MSMEs and companies to provide services that catered to the Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 visitors’ needs. This collaboration involved more than ten Pertamina fostered partners from various locations across Indonesia.
"Most are food and beverages, ranging from snacks to heavy meals. Their presence not only fulfills the visitors’ basic needs but also provides a good opportunity for interaction and expanding their products to a wider audience," said Fadjar.
One of Pertamina's fostered partners, Korean Food Salwa, represented by Rohmah, expressed joy in participating in Pertamina's activities. Rohmah, who came from Semarang, acknowledged a significant surge in sales during this event.
"The enthusiasm is incredible. We are from Semarang, and it is our first time in Jakarta. It is very crowded. I hope to participate more often in events like this. Earlier, the President Director of Pertamina herself ordered and tried our products; she said it was delicious. She did not even ask, just ordered," she said.
Apart from the MSME stands, Pertamina's subholding also set up bustling booths. Several sub-holdings brought their MSMEs fostered partners as well, offering special products.
"We also brought our partner, 'Teman Istimewa,' a coffee enterprise created by a community of people with disabilities. It allows visitors to interact directly with our special friends with disabilities. Another MSME we brought is Agrimania mangoes, a flagship product from the Balongan refinery, where these mangoes are unusually large and sweet. If grown outside the Indramayu region, the fruit does not grow as large. There is considerable enthusiasm among visitors, as many want to taste it," said Hermansyah Y Nasroen, Corporate Secretary of Kilang Pertamina Internasional.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina's business lines and operations.**
